Every figure on this page is a field Etsy returns for the shop through its Open API. This is how Etsy’s API reference describes each one:
- Sales —
The total number of sales (transactions) for this shop.
- Active listings —
The number of active listings in the shop.
- Favorites —
The number of users who marked this shop a favorite.
- Opened —
The date and time this shop was created, in epoch seconds.
- On vacation —
When true, this shop is not accepting purchases.
Nothing is estimated or adjusted. If Etsy does not return a field, the page shows a dash.
What the sales count does not tell you
Revenue. Etsy gives the number of sales, not what they were worth. A revenue figure for an Etsy shop has to assume a price for every sale, so this page does not show one.
Which listing sold. Etsy’s API does not give sales per listing, so no outside tool can see which products a shop sells most.
How fast a shop sells now. Etsy calls it “the total number of sales” — one number with no dates, so it cannot show a recent month.
