Growtsy vs EverBee
These two disagree about something fundamental: whether a tool should tell you what a listing earns. EverBee's whole paid tier is built on that number. Growtsy refuses to print one. That disagreement — not the feature lists — is the thing worth deciding on.
Free plan: 1 Scout verdict · 1 full listing · 3 AI photos — a one-time allowance, no card. Not affiliated with Etsy, Inc. or EverBee.
The one-line answer
EverBee tells you what other people appear to be selling. Growtsy tells you whether to make the thing, and whether your listing is ready to publish — then generates the photos. If you research by browsing Etsy and want numbers on screen as you go, EverBee is built for that and Growtsy is not.
Price and limits
EverBee figures are from its own pricing page, checked 15 August 2026. Both vendors change pricing — verify on the vendor site before you buy.

Where each one actually wins
EverBee is better at
- Research inside the Etsy tab. The extension is the product. You browse, the numbers appear. Growtsy has no extension and no plan for one.
- Scanning a category fast. Sorting a whole category by estimated volume is a legitimately quick way to see what is busy — even if the absolute numbers are inferred.
- Shop tracking. Up to 100 shops on Growth, unlimited on Business. Growtsy does not track competitor shops at all.
- Trend windows. 3, 6, 12 and 24-month growth views on the top plan.
- A more usable free tier for browsing — if you only want views, reviews and favourites, you never have to pay.
Growtsy does things EverBee doesn't
- Pre-purchase validation. Scout answers "should I make this at all?" before you buy materials, and ends with one decision.
- A decision, not a dashboard. Every analysis finishes with a single next action — publish now, improve first, fix the visuals, or wrong niche.
- AI product photography. One product shot becomes listing-ready scene and lifestyle images, with a separate pass that flags images where the product identity drifted.
- AI listing generation. Title, 13 tags and description written against live Etsy market data.
- Timezone publishing planner across 30 markets.
The disagreement, stated plainly
EverBee's cheapest paid plan costs $29.99 and the thing it unlocks is per-listing sales and revenue. It is worth knowing precisely what that number is.
- Etsy publishes a lifetime sales count per shop. That is real and public.
- Etsy's public API does not expose sales for an individual listing, over any period. There is no endpoint.
- So a per-listing monthly figure is modelled — from review counts and review timing, favourites, shop totals, listing age and category behaviour.
- The inference is weakest in exactly the categories beginners are pushed toward: digital downloads and anything with a low review rate.
Growtsy's position is that a modelled figure printed to the dollar reads as a measurement, and people plan around it. So we describe demand qualitatively — "high demand, crowded competition, weak visuals" — and say when we are reasoning from indirect signals. That is a real cost, not a clever feature. You lose a number that is easy to sort by. If that number is what you came for, EverBee sells it and we do not.
Which should you buy?

Common questions
Is Growtsy an EverBee alternative?
Partly, and it depends entirely on which half of EverBee you use. If you use it to decide what to make, Growtsy does that job differently and, we would argue, more honestly. If you use it to see estimated sales while browsing Etsy, Growtsy does not replace it — there is no browser extension and no sales estimate, on purpose.
Why does Growtsy not show sales estimates?
Because Etsy's public API does not expose per-listing sales, so any monthly revenue figure is inferred from review counts, favourites and shop totals. We would rather describe demand qualitatively and say when we are reasoning from indirect signals than print a dollar figure that looks like a measurement and is not. That is a real trade-off, not a feature — if a revenue number is what you want, EverBee is the tool that gives you one.
Which is cheaper, Growtsy or EverBee?
Growtsy, at both ends. Growtsy runs $9 to $99 a month; EverBee runs $29.99 to $99. EverBee's free Hobby plan is more generous for browsing than Growtsy's free allowance, but it withholds the sales figures that most people install EverBee for.
Does Growtsy have a Chrome extension?
No. Growtsy is a web app you open deliberately, not an overlay on Etsy. If your research happens inside the Etsy tab and you want numbers to appear as you browse, that workflow is EverBee's core strength and Growtsy does not offer it.
What does Growtsy do that EverBee does not?
Three things. It validates a product idea before you make it and ends with a single decision rather than a table. It generates listing photography from one product shot, with a separate quality pass that flags images where the product drifted. And it will tell you not to enter a niche, which a research tool priced per lookup has no incentive to do.
Stop guessing. Ship the decision.
One Scout verdict, one full listing and three AI photos, free, no card. If it turns out EverBee is what you needed, that is a fine outcome too.
