Etsy Ads and Offsite Ads. Ads spend is a budget you choose, not a fee on every order, so folding it in would make every result look worse than reality. Offsite Ads is 12–15% but only on orders that actually came from an Etsy-bought ad — for most sellers that is a minority of orders. Adding either as a flat percentage would be dishonest arithmetic.
Currency conversion. If you are paid out in a currency other than USD, your bank or Payoneer takes a spread on top. That is outside Etsy and varies by provider.
Yes. The transaction fee applies to the item price plus the shipping you charge, which is why free shipping is not free — you absorb the fee on the amount you build into the price.
