The same read as the free shop audit: the shop is looked up by its exact name in Etsy’s Open API, then its first 100 active listings are read. For each listing the tool takes two fields Etsy returns:
- Tags — the listing’s tags exactly as the shop entered them, compared in lower case. A tag counts once per listing, so “on 12 listings” means 12 different listings carry it.
- Title — two- and three-word phrases, counted once per title. A phrase does not cross a comma or other separator.
Only tags and phrases that two or more listings share are listed; the rest are counted. Names of brands or characters are marked. Nothing is estimated, and no AI writes any part of the result.
What this does not tell you
Which tags bring sales. Etsy doesn’t publish sales per listing, or which tags bring a shop its visits. A tag on many of a shop’s listings is a tag the shop wrote many times, nothing more.
Every listing. Only the first 100 active listings are read. Listings that are not active right now — drafts, sold out or expired — are not.

How do I see what tags an Etsy shop uses?
Type the shop name or paste its link. The tool reads the first 100 active listings Etsy’s API returns for the shop, counts each tag once per listing and lists the tags two or more of them share, with how many listings carry each, plus the phrases its titles share.
Can I see which tags get sales?
No. Etsy doesn’t publish sales for individual listings or which tags bring a shop its visits, so no tool built on Etsy’s data can say which tags lead to sales. The sales count shown is Etsy’s total for the whole shop.
Why are some of the shop’s tags missing?
Only tags on two or more listings are listed, up to 30; tags on a single listing are counted but not listed. Only the first 100 active listings are read, so drafts, sold-out and expired listings are left out.
Can I see the tags on one listing?

Do you store the shop I check?
The shop name is sent to Etsy’s API and the result is shown to you. The same shop’s result may be kept for up to 15 minutes so a repeat check doesn’t ask Etsy again; nothing is tied to you. We count anonymously that the page was used and which kind of result it gave.
